Dean W Excellent movie, highly recommended. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/17/24 Full Review S J Great movie. Felt so authentic, the filming style. Nothing too far in any direction, just a great, interesting movie, great characters. Not over the top, probably could never be made in 2020's, but it's a definite choice when finding something to watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/07/23 Full Review Scott H Besides a pretty bad soundtrack and a few weak performance, this film is definitely worth a watch. Gritty, some good dialogue and a solid ending. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/07/23 Full Review Marc Z This is a great find. I do not know how I did not hear more about this fabulous movie before. An Italian Restaurant owned by bookmaker, played by the great Danny Aiello, becomes the center of multiple intersecting storylines. Love stories, mob stories, the running of a busy restaurant, generational struggles and more are all intertwined in the fabric of the story. The characters and actors are deeply satisfying to watch and richly created and acted. The Direction, editing, and music all are compliments to the film. The restaurant, the main setting for the movie, is a character in and of itself. This is a great movie and great story. The dialogue is terrific. I really enjoyed this movie. The ending!!!!! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/06/23 Full Review Lil J loved every minute…. like a roller coaster ride to the best and the worst of human nature. Great plot twist at the end… Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/02/23 Full Review mad l Excellent film, with a variety cast. Delicious film, and Aiello in the lead. Ensemble of characters and storyline is a one nighter. Awesome end twist, exquisite cinematography, and superb acting ~ bon appetit!
