The film moves along at a breakneck pace, which is to its advantage. Sometimes the intrigue is laid on too thick, but things usually straighten out. Go to Full Review

Diplomatic Courier is skillfully made, rich in twists and turns, but totally lacking in significance. This little cinematic escapade never goes beyond what it literally portrays. Go to Full Review

Odd mixture of semi-documentary and spy film, with good cast. Go to Full Review

An exciting Cold War espionage thriller that's well-acted and tautly directly by Henry Hathaway. Go to Full Review

Thomas S 6d It’s an enjoyable triller and really a withheld watch compared to the 2025 film era. Simple and clear. Dialog that is this understandable, and tight. Ok sometimes maybe too tight. But visually and for the most part plot wise a great movie. And yes that is Charles Bronson you catch a glimpse of as a Russian agent. The only weaknesses were some serious unbelievability in the way one can just hop off of a moving car, a rushed feeling ending, and some clunky dialog here and there. See more Russ G Feb 3 I'd call this a really well-done noir / spy thriller with good performances from all the principles. Patricia Neil is good as the femme fatale. A younger Karl Malden plays the sergeant, and look for a young Lee Marvin in a bit part. It's an engrossing 93 minutes without any filler. I do think that it needs more action, but all older movies are like that. Still good and if you aren't paying attention a little confusing/misleading. This is surely one i'd watch again. WOOHOO!!! 4.5 Stars See more 08/10/2015 Brisk Cold War thriller with Power strong in the lead. A weird bit of billing, Patricia Neal-who looks like a million-has costar billing but her role is small and she's actually support whereas Hildegarde Neff who is listed as a supporting player has the female lead. A decent view. See more Read all reviews
