Bob Thomas Associated Press The film moves along at a breakneck pace, which is to its advantage. Sometimes the intrigue is laid on too thick, but things usually straighten out. Jul 24, 2019 Full Review André Bazin L'Obs (France) Diplomatic Courier is skillfully made, rich in twists and turns, but totally lacking in significance. This little cinematic escapade never goes beyond what it literally portrays. Dec 8, 2021 Full Review Michael E. Grost Classic Film and Television Odd mixture of semi-documentary and spy film, with good cast. Sep 30, 2014 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews An exciting Cold War espionage thriller that's well-acted and tautly directly by Henry Hathaway. james g This looks like something from the mid-1930s instead of 1952. A bad transfer perhaps? It's just okay because of the way it looks. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Personally I think that it's strange that not very many people liked it. I do think that it needs more action, but all older movies are like that. Still good and if you aren't paying attention a little confusing/misleading. This is surely one i'd watch again. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Film Noir Fan? => Must See! Convoluted Taught Plot, Great Cast, Brilliant Locations, Wonderful Composition, Lotsa Shadows! WOOHOO!!! 4.5 Stars Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Brisk Cold War thriller with Power strong in the lead. A weird bit of billing, Patricia Neal-who looks like a million-has costar billing but her role is small and she's actually support whereas Hildegarde Neff who is listed as a supporting player has the female lead. A decent view. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I caught this on late-night tv about 35 years ago and it is really good. One of my favorite films, in fact. If you can find it, see it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
