tm11999 M @tm11999 3d pretty good family movie with a surprise family ending. i would expect no less from carmen ibanez. you can watch this. The lead had enough charisma to carry a few scenes, but the script gave him almost nothing interesting to work with. It kept hinting at tension and complexity without ever really earning either, so after a while it just became background noise with good lighting and an attractive man in the middle of it. But (like Alice dropping into a wierd Wonderland) I fell into this film and found myself so captivated by the nuances (and especially the Siamese twin-ness of the two brothers’ relationship) that I never even considered trying to climb out. His movies are always dark and edgy and usually feature unknown or lesser known actors. This one has a bunch of stars and they really deliver. Especially Michael Beach and Patrick Muldoon (RIP).
