Jose Solís Common Sense Media Castellanos sets a creepy mood that becomes even more potent when accompanied by the toe-tapping disco classics that make this haunted dance floor the place to be. Rated: 4/5 Nov 6, 2023 Full Review Lori C. Ready Steady Cut Like most short films, Disco Inferno features unconvincing performances and laughable jump-scares. It is not scary in the slightest, but the camera work, the music, and the flashy lights do make it worthwhile. Rated: 2.5/5 Oct 21, 2023 Full Review John Serba Decider There’s a fine line between being suggestive and sketchy, and this film lands in the latter camp. Oct 20, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Tony P "Disco Inferno" is an exemplary short film that boasts a runtime of nearly 20 minutes. The director, Matthew Castellanos, demonstrated remarkable aptitude in his craft. Visually captivating, the film authentically captures the essence of the era it portrays. Through the use of striking compositions and deliberate camera movements, the narrative of love and loss is elevated to new heights. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/27/23 Full Review Maria C I loved this movie! The atmosphere was heavy and the camera work knew exactly where it wanted to be. I wish the movie would have been longer to expand on the story. Great Work! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/27/23 Full Review Mario A What it lacked in horror, it made up for in great directing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/27/23 Full Review Honey L Short and Sweet ~ Vibrant, Entertaining, Thrilling, and Fun. There appears to be hidden, deeper meaning behind some of the themes/messages in this story that, combined with the creative elements, makes this a sensory stimulating, thought-provoking, and dynamic hit as a short film! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/22/23 Full Review Travis M What's lacking in overall length of the film, is made up for imagery. Enjoyable if feeling incomplete due to the short run time.
