The Disorderly Orderly seems a little bit forced. Even for Jerry Lewis (the star) and Frank Tashlin (the director). While the humor is there, I still did not find that film amusing. Maybe it's because of the disorderly writing and the blatant product placement shown throughout the film. Especially at the film's climax. The Disorderly Orderly is just an odd film that is very unamusing.

It's a fun and heart warming story with typical Jerry Lewis shenanigans. The final sequence will leave you in awe with choreography and stunts that are amazing even by today's standards. While the premise and story leave something to be desired, it's a wholesome romcom with fun physical comedy.

It's hard to explain why certain Jerry Lewis film have charm & appeal but they simply do. Truly the story of a Disorderly Orderly & despite his enemies from his clumsiness he has influential friends. Dripping in 1960's style this is fun film that has a little world of its own quality. A genuinely amusing film from the Comedy Master.

This was great fun! I don't care what ANYONE says--I love Jerry Lewis' movies. Sure, some of his mayhem and gags don't work, but enough of them do to make all of his movies enjoyable--at least for this cinephile.
