Anne Thompson indieWire Tarantino designed this revisionist western to blow people's gaskets. Packed with physical comedy, bloody action and hell-bent revenge, it looks like a classic widescreen Sergio Leone western... Mar 31, 2020 Full Review Deborah Ross The Spectator A good film, and a crazily entertaining film, until Tarantino does blow everything up, at which point it just becomes rather silly. Sep 4, 2018 Full Review Roxane Gay BuzzFeed News The film is at times brilliant but mostly infuriating. It is a good movie in that masturbatory way most Tarantino films are good. May 25, 2018 Full Review Branyan Towe Loud and Clear Reviews Django Unchained is still one of Quentin Tarantino’s finest works to date thanks to an excellent, extremely memorable script and a brilliant cast Rated: 4/5 Jul 29, 2024 Full Review Don Shanahan Every Movie Has a Lesson By tackling a massive western, the writer and director continues to prove that he has never been short on ambition and gives us his grandest spectacle yet. Rated: 4/5 Apr 7, 2024 Full Review John Brhel Vague Visages It might not be the most innovative in Tarantino’s oeuvre, but it’s got real stakes and memorable characters one can root for. Django is packed with Tarantino’s postmodern trademarks, but it also has the added value of actually addressing serious issues. Jun 5, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Matt LOVED IT! Never seen this before. You’re missing out if you don’t watch this. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/31/23 Full Review Luke M Only watched this recently, wish I had watched it when it came out. The acting and directing is 10/10. Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz were amazing. Full of action and a great story. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/25 Full Review No-one 1 If they named if differently and didn't use the same soundtrack of Django movie from 1966 it would have been a great movie, in fact is is originall because it has nothing to do with Django movie from 1966. Neither the story or characters there. So, i have to admit they made a terrific job creating this story to spread their political agenda. All said actors played very well their roles, specially Dicaprio (which used his own blood on a scene that went very unique as a result, (poor kerry washington that had to endure the scene)) and Samuel L Jackson. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/25 Full Review Paul W A masterpiece of a film. Amazing writing, exceptional acting, outstanding plot, locations, filming, and just everything about it. One of the best movies out there. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/25 Full Review Elijah M This is movie gets you hooked within minutes and the expense of what is going to happen next keeps you entertained and on the edge of your seat. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/25 Full Review Lucas G Although vulgar at times the movie is an amazing watch that does the job of entertaining perfectly. The best part of this movie is the antagonists. Candy is an irritating antagonist but he’s far from the most interesting that being Stephen who once watching the movie you’ll instantly hate the character as he does everything in his power to make him the most disliked person imaginable and it just makes the end of the movie that much better.
