Montgomery M I love horror movies about dolls. This one was fairly standard. It didn't really do anything that unique or interesting. But it was entertaining and the dolls were kind of funny and cool. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Riding on the coattails of Chucky, this is better than it has any right to be. With a decent amount of tension, some likeable characters and a deliciously strange appearance by Rip Torn, it's a fun little schlocky horror flick. I'm shocked it didn't get an sequels. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/21 Full Review Audience Member I seen this movie years ago when I was a kid when this first came out. I wanted something to watch so I went with this movie, after many years of not seeing it. I don't think that I will watch it again, your run of the mill bootleg horror movie from the 90's. This movie has aged like milk, Rip Torn with the spanish accent is enough to tune out. Awful and the only thing scary about this movie is the doll. the doll's voice, looks etc... just odd and ugly the doll is strange looking with a big face and wide/large jaw and cheeks avoid this movie a boring movie. It scared me as a kid bored me as a adult 1 star. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Great horror movie, loved it as kid and still do now as an adult . Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Pitiful Chucky wannabe. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Dolly Dearest is the perfect selection for a bad movie night. It is unintentionally hilarious due to the fact that the movie is played straight throughout. Rip Torn's terrible Spanish accent is great and the terrible acting is hypnotic in a strange way. It does have a positive buried in the dreck which is the actual dolls used in the movie are kind of cool. The animatronics used for the doll's facial movements are neat especially for the time. It was actually strangely convincing. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
