Jason Flatt But Why Tho? A Geek Community Don’t Kill Me is two things at once and only really sure of a portion of itself. It’s a tragedy that can’t give up its romanticism and it’s a thriller that doesn’t fully deliver on its action’s potential. Rated: 7/10 Jan 4, 2023 Full Review Brian Costello Common Sense Media It's more style than substance, and the style isn't enough to carry the action. Sérgio N So bizarre that I can't remember much of it (and it hasn't been that long since I watched it). It's interesting to know that it was based on a novel (by Chiara Palazzolo) and that it was incredibly nominated in several categories at the 2021 Nastro d'Argento, including Best Film, Best Cinematography and Best Editing. o_O This award ceremony really should be lacking in titles. A very weak romantic horror film (if such a thing exists). I researched Alice Pagani and saw that she had already worked with Andrea De Sica, so this insane idea must have come from there. She was also in The Poison Rose, alongside big names like Travolta, Freeman, Brendan Fraser and Robert Patrick (I haven't watched it, so I can't comment, but I was interested and have already noted it down). Rocco Fasano also has nothing to highlight here and apparently even less in his other works. Don't waste your time, unless you have a lot of curiosity and time to spare. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/03/25 Full Review Gabriele P Not only the movie and the script are really bad in every possible way, but the acting is probably even worse, completely fake and badly written. The only decent thing is photography, but that's not enough to save a bad movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/02/24 Full Review K. T AWFUL!!! Don't waste your time like I did! You know it's bad when they have to have a lot of sex and blood scenes in the movie to make most of the movie. I fast forwarded most of this sorry movie, to get to the ending! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/07/23 Full Review Chanele G This is so boring. Skip it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/30/23 Full Review T T Just an Italian B zombie movie. Nothing special about it. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review William P Not much there there. Plodding rehash with no explanation of anything. If you can make iot to 1:10:00 there's a rather comic bad date scene that's good for a laugh. Really, who do they get to do the translation for the dubs? If you can make it to the end, there's the usual set up for the sequel which will never, ever, happen. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 08/23/22 Full Review Read all reviews
