Nurse Charlotte Beale is hired by Dr. Stephens to work at a small sanitarium he runs. When Charlotte arrives, however, she learns that Stephens died in the interim, and his successor, Dr. Masters is not very keen to take on new staff. Charlotte goes along, but can't help noticing how unusual Masters' approach is to treating the mentally ill. She soon learns why Dr. Masters is so eager to keep the outsiders out.

A horror film made with real grit. It'll twist your mind as the hacking and slashing unfolds. Although it seems to have been forgotten on the back shelf by audiences, it is probably one of the most underrated ever made.

When I first heard of "movies" and "movie theaters" back when i was 4 years old... i never thought i would see a fiilm quite as compelling, quite as epic, quite as influential as this Trojan war of a film. the overflow of pure action in this Rom-Com-ish film was not only good but it made me laugh, cry, smile, and feel a sense of completion before it even began... I never watched it actually but looks pretty cool

Synopsis

Nurse Charlotte Beale is hired by Dr. Stephens to work at a small sanitarium he runs.
