Audience Member I Love this movie so freakin much! Bernie you did tht I always have so much Love for all of yall! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member I am only a little shocked that many movie reviewers just didn't get this movie. Don't get me wrong, this movie isn't for everybody. If you dislike, or are unfamiliar with life in a church and don't have any problems using the more colorful spectrum of the english language, this movie won't matter to you. But if you felt uncomfortable watching Kings of Comedy, but yearned for Steve's brand of comedy, this movie is exactly what the doctor ordered. There are some slow moments, and Steve spends far too much time defending himself. But all in all I must say this was a wonderful movie. And not to give anything away, but for those of you who know where Steve is coming from, the end of this movie will have you rejoicing in your seat! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member This guy is garbage, I'm so tired of reverse racism lining black comedians' pockets. It's by far the biggest sell out and outrageous event occurring in any profession today. Who else can complain about racism/white supremacy in America and in the same breath make outrageously racist remarks about that same ethnic background? The same comedy reversed costs people jobs and starts marches. Mr Harvey, do everyone a favor and kill yourself. It'll bring this country one step closer to becoming united, if that's what you really care about. What's that you say? Easy paycheck? I figured. (Watch Steve Harvey: Still Trippin' and tell me you can't see major hypocrisy) Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Very funny, and I appreciate the clean humor. Harvey is proving something that you don't have to be crude to be funny. Not quite as good as Bill Cosby, another comic who proved you don't need to be vulgar, but funny nonetheless. There needs to be more TRULY funny Christian comedians. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Tremendous comedy and a commendable first for Steve Harvey to do a show in front of a packed house of Christians with NO cussin. You Go Boy! The Jesus intro gave me goosebumps- a must see. Carrie Rickey Philadelphia Inquirer Harvey's sly, observational humor is on view in Don't Trip . . . He Ain't Through With Me Yet. Rated: 2.5/4 Mar 17, 2006 Full Review Lisa Rose Newark Star-Ledger It's not very Christian for Harvey to ask his fans to pay multiplex ticket prices for a shoddy film that is barely feature length. Rated: 1/4 Mar 17, 2006 Full Review Entertainment Weekly Rated: B- Mar 17, 2006 Full Review Kam Williams AALBC.com The contrast between the familiar image of Harvey as the brash, above-it-all funnyman we've come to love over the years and the suddenly vulnerable soul we now see up on the on screen is unusually endearing and, ultimately, winning. Rated: 4/4 Jan 9, 2007 Full Review Frank Ochieng TheWorldJournal.com Don't Trip...He Ain't Through With Me Yet! is the most decisive "Amen!" that the crafty and dapper Steve Harvey can get short of being baptized in the Nile River.
