Original plot and great acting by all. What makes the acting more powerful is the fact that this was the first movie for three leads. See more 06/07/2012 A moving Bollywood film, at first I was a bit lost, due to relying on subtitles, but really got into the movie when Zeenat started her journey. Really well done with beautifully constructed characters and a more than believable storyline. See more 08/11/2010 Here is an interesting movie about two young women (Meera and Zeenat) who become instant friends. One has to deal with the loss of her husband, and the other realizing that her husband is being charged as the murderer. In order for Zeenat to achieve pardon for her husband Amir, she has to meet the victim?s widow, and get her to sign her husband?s petition. She meets Shankar?s family, and they spat in her face disapproving of her presence in their home. Zeenat decides to meet Meera, on her own. The two meet at a temple each day, and their friendship develops. Until Amir?s execution date draws near, Zeenat has to explain herself right away. Great cast- Ayesha Takia, Gul Panag, and Shreyas Talpade. Worth seeing! outstanding, superb, mindblowing, fantastic. See more Read all reviews
