Audience Member Absolutely terrible. Barley comprehensible what's going on half the time, changed the original story so much it was almost unrecognisable as the same thing, huge comedy because the acting and script is sometimes so ridiculously bad. Love it a lot, made me laugh at how bad it is. It gets a bit painful to watch after an hour so I would not reccomend watching the whole thing at once. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member The best movie about Dorian.. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member ok version of this which is more faithful to the source material than the 1945 version Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Old school but I still enjoyed it. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Dallamano's Dorian Gray captures the essence of Oscar Wilde's Novel far better than the 2009 counterpart. This movie is very true to the book, although modernized, and really captures the gluttonous, hedonistic debauchery that is Dorian Gray. Helmut Berger is a wonderful choice for Dorian Gray and plays the beautifully awful man to the dot. One can't help but be saddened by the little recognition this film has had, for it is most likely the best movie adaptation of Wilde's novel. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member This film really deserves about 3 stars, but since the only other rating is 2, I thought I should probably counterbalance that. This 1970 update was about 7 years ahead of its time, though not especially compelling now. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
