Audience Member the actress that played Hydes love interest/maid was exceptionally good looking. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Never knew that this film isn't popular. No one has even reviewed this film on this site. I'm the first. Also, no one has even seen it in this site. I'm the first again! Wow... It's worth watching, but it has its flaws. I liked how it didn't want to become a horror film and that it was more like a thriller (a la, Sweeney Todd). That was one of the good thing about this film. The cinematography was good, too. Although John Hannah was good as Dr.Jekyll, I still found him a bit laughable. Maybe because I'm used to him playing someone funny. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review bill t Not a bad adaptation here, with a few nice little added touches. A La Mary Reilly, the relationship between Jekyll and his maid are given attention here, while Jekyll goes through an unfortunate phase of his life. The big complaint I have with this one is I found John Hannah to be annoying and didnt have the acting chops play the title character well enough. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member So-so adaptation of the classic Stevenson story that fails to truly ignite. John Hannah is an enigmatic Dr Jekyll but there's too much stodge to the screenplay to raise it above just average. Features an early appearance from Carly off of EastEnders. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member So good. John Hannah rocks :] Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member John Hannah is good but I've seen him play better parts than this. The story is a classic but this film doesn't quite deal with it in the manner it has the potential to do so. A little work on the script would have gone a long way. Mind you, Hyde's scenes were really quite entertaining. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
