Mike McCahill Guardian It may as well be Kenny G, or Preparation H. Rated: 1/5 Oct 1, 2015 Full Review Joe Leydon Variety A strictly members-only entertainment for a dedicated target audience, "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'" will impress the uninitiated as very loud and very colorful, but not nearly fast-paced enough. Aug 12, 2015 Full Review Chris Stuckmann ChrisStuckmann.com Despite falling back on traditional DBZ clichés, Resurrection 'F' features enough beautifully animated butt-kicking to warrant a watch. Rated: B Aug 5, 2015 Full Review Sam Leach Anime News Network The realization that we're reuniting Goku, Vegeta and Frieza feels ripe for some kind of massive catharsis, but this movie's story is simply not that ambitious. Rated: B Mar 19, 2019 Full Review Koda Kazar Ani-TAY In the end, Resurrection 'F' is unquestionably one thing, and that is fun. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/30/24 Full Review TNT D While certainly not on the same level as its predecessor (Battle Of Gods), 'Resurrection F' still delivers on the classic Dragon Ball promise of fun fights and a good time. Beautifully animated. 8/10 -TNTDude Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/10/24 Full Review Tayna M The dynamics of this one are a total work of art made for anime lovers. I don't like Dragon Ball but this one was really good. If you like action and dynamic dialogue between characters, this is for you.In my opinion, there is no way to watch Dragon Ball without seeing this one. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/19/24 Full Review Boc T Comedy felt weak & forced. The action and animation was good. Super Saiyan Blue being revealed this way felt underwhelming. Vegeta gets a lesser role again & of course, the ending. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/15/24 Full Review Zack F DRAGON BALL Z: RESURRECTION F golden frieza impressive Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/10/23 Full Review Christopher B Hot on the heels of Battle of Gods, Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' is another welcome addition to the theatrical Dragon Ball films. While the film takes several liberties in it's story and has some loose explanations for Freeza to catch up to the extraordinary levels that Goku and Vegeta have attained since his demise many years ago. While it's kind of put together briskly and makes Freeza a somewhat challenging rival, it is short lived and not as epic as it could have been. Still, this is a great film and one in which combines the old with the new style and advancements in anime to make a great standalone work! It brought back many nostalgic feelings and still remained new and exciting as well. I loved the film and while it took some quick steps to tie things together and make Freeza relevant, it was very fun and exciting to watch! Anyone that loves Dragon Ball at any level should appreciate this film! My good friend Brad and I were lucky enough to catch the last day of showings in theater and it really added to the experience seeing it on the big screen!
