With the Civil War still a fresh memory, Maj. Clint Drango (Jeff Chandler) of the Union Army must restore order to Kennesaw Pass, Georgia. However, even with the trusty Capt. Marc Banning (John Lupton) along, he faces a distrustful town, as well as former Confederates led by the manipulative Clay Allen (Ronald Howard).
