Audience Member Found this gem on YouTube movies. The chemistry between Grant and Kerr is timeless. Both spitting out one liners that are hilarious. The plot is is a farce. But, definitely worth your time to see these 2. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member The ending of this film is the low point of the whole story. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Another Cary Grant film crossed off the list, and another that was interesting but didn't fully grab me, if only because I can't exactly relate to any of the problems contained therein. Grant wants an old fashioned woman, so rather than try to make it work with his busy, professionally driven love interest, played by Deborah Kerr, so he soon moves on to date a Princess who seems to know her 'place'. It's watchable, but I wasn't blown away by it. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Rather one of the worst Cary Grant romance dramas. Very bleak and repetitive in its narrative. While the major actors give their best with some charismatic performances, Dream Wife is still only mildly amusing. There are much more enjoyable dramedies from the 50's. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member the premise of "dream wife" is ridiculous and cary grant is the perfect actor to pull off the role, as he is fantastic at making the offbeat seem natural, as well as having great chemistry with deborah kerr. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty decent comedy but far from the best one starring Grant. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
