Himanshu S the movie was very funny and please watch it with your friends and family Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/25/22 Full Review India's 1 C Dream Girl entices the audiences with its sharp, layered dialogues, its pitch-perfect performances, and its relevant, well-made - if formulaic story. It entertains and spreads bold messages about loneliness, women's roles in society and much more. As for the controversies surrounding "Dream Girl", the 'offensive' references to Islamic culture and homosexuality were extremely over-the-top, to the point where it was impossible to take it seriously - thus removing any reason to be offended by it. However, each to their own. The only minor gripe I have with "Dream Girl" is the hasty ending that - despite providing a resolution to all storylines - does so in an unsatisfactory manner, with all resolutions being allotted one line each. I think this movie has an important message and is pretty fun to watch overall. I think people who have generally liked Ayushmann Khurrana's other efforts will find enjoyment in this movie. The main issue I had with the movie is that while it starts off strong, the premise fizzles out at a point. I think this movie is longer than it needed to be and feels a bit stretched out in its second half. I still think the movie has consistent laughs and a good commentary and is a worthwhile watch because the story is something unexpected and different for Bollywood. The right pace and the right message to be driven home. Also, it boasts of Ayushmann Khurana, who delivers a compelling performance. But the rest of the film is all over the place with a weak and incoherent script with some terrific laughs but overall insipid arc.
