Jack S A good cast and a smart script make Dreamboat an unexpected delight. It's an ideal role for Webb here as a typically staid professor embarrassed by the exposure of his former silent movie career—exploited on TV by ex romantic co-star (Rodgers). Both Webb and Rogers have a good deal of fun in vintage clips of the old films in question, including a few cleverly deft slapstick sequences—my favorite which has Webb subduing a boorish bar patron by imitating the fight scene moves of his hero character from one of his old silent action films! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/24 Full Review Steve D The premise is too thin to last. It shouldn't be a big deal that he was an actor.
