Beautiful movie. Absorbing from start to finish. Great ensemble cast with Mohanlal in particular crushing it as the brooding, resolute Georgekutty. I saw it before I saw the first Drishyam and it stands on its own just fine.

Jeetu Joseph succeeds in spinning another interesting yarn. Although seemingly derivative from the first one it felt like this was something that he thought would be a good thing to do rather than setting out to do something completely new.

Quite lengthy in my opinion. Besides, despite such a long runtime, it doesn't work as a standalone. Like the first part, it requires your constant attention. For once, all this wasn't much of a problem for me and I found it worthwhile overall.
