While the mix of drama and comedy is shaky, Drunk Bus is still a rewarding watch. Go to Full Review

It's with a surprising low-key charm, with Pineapple bringing his gutterpunk Yoda vibe into Michael's carefully-constructed world of misery, and both getting a little learning from the experience. Go to Full Review

Though a well-travelled journey, this is a big-hearted and fun film that's well worth flagging down. Go to Full Review

04/14/2022 Drunk Bus hits its stride in everything it goes for. As a current student from Kent State University, this film exemplifies exactly what the feeling of Kent, Ohio invokes. It is a college town with a lot of heart which Drunk Bus represents equally. It is a laugh-out-loud comedy, with a perfect soundtrack. This film has a great cast with Charlie Tahan from Ozark and Pineapple paying himself in this "based on true shit story." For this low-budget first ever feature film from the co-director duo, Drunk Bus is a story that everyone coming out of college needs right now. Drunk Bus is a must-see movie from any upcoming filmmaker in the industry or even someone that has gone to Kent State University. See more 03/10/2022 It's not bad, it's not good, it's nothing. technically well done with good actors. See more 02/11/2022 There's nothing uncommon or remarkable about this story line or these performances--a rote student film with the budget for a bus. I came across this movie by chance and, being from Cleveland and Kent, I had to upvote it a little just for hometown pride. There's no reason to seek this movie out, though, and no reason to feel like you're missing anything if you pass it by. See more 01/18/2022 I loved this movie! It was funny, poignant, and endearing. Took me back to my college days. See more 01/18/2022 Reminds me of my college life at Kent State University. Always enjoyable to revisit this entertaining dark comedy. See more dave d 09/09/2021 You most likely know Charlie Tahan from Ozark, but he shifts into a starring turn with ease and could be one of my new favorite young actors. Tahan pulls off awkward as well as it can be done. Forgive some of the disjointed acting and the overdone gimmicks and you have a totally enjoyable film that's occasionally funny and most definitely well thought out. There's a college bus at fictional Kent Tech that is nicknamed the "Drunk Bus" because the passengers late at night are often drunk. There are times the movie is serious, but you'll quickly learn that the message here is friendship and finding yourself in a tone that isn't stuffy. Final Score: 6.7/10 See more Read all reviews
