01/10/2018 A very good Chadian Movie .. Slowly moving but interseting.. Although it's end is somehow predictable .. but also impressive... I hope every African man watches this one :) See more 01/10/2018 I suppose much gets lost in cross-cultural understanding. The protagonist's motivation is not always clear to a non-African mindset, although eventually, you'll catch on. The acting appears wooden, deliberate and uninspired. At times the film moves excruciatingly slow. Opportunities to liven-up the storyline are missed. But, as I insinuated, this critique comes from somebody with a different cultural background. Half a star more for yours truly possibly missing some of the finer points. See more 11/12/2013 This film has a high novelty factor coming from a seldom filmed country surrounding issues not many will be familiar with, but this doesn't matter as it is a well directed story which requires some patience from the viewer.
