Synopsis
This documentary focuses on politician Dylan Glenn, who, in 2000, became the first-ever black man to run for U.S. Congress as a Republican. The cameras follow Glenn as he campaigns in Georgia's 2nd District, a majority-white area known for its racist history. Facing the ghosts of plantation life, lynchings and the once-prominent Ku Klux Klan on one side and scornful Democratic opposition on the other, the idealistic young politician wages a profoundly uphill battle.
