Audience Member Four American athletes are taken hostage at a women's international track competiton. Ransom demands are rejected by US so captors to try to sell the girls into slavery. Cirio Santiago has a way here of making daylight scenes appear like dusk. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Some cool action sequences. The rest is just...eh! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member This had all the makings of a cool movie. 70s, hot girls, the Philippines. It's a recipe for exploitation goodness. Alas, the film is boring. How many times can these ladies botch their escapes? I lost count. The girls are more annoying than anything else. The fights are bad. The action is lame. Heck, there wasn't even any skin, or I didn't notice any. How do you make a women in prison movie without any skin? Just boring. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Another triumph for Cirio Santiago. When President Ford refuses to negotiate, terrorists sell kidnapped US athletes as slaves (although hard to tell anything in this lighting). Hopefully the President at least demanded better security measures for the remaining athletes. Not to be confused with 1979 tv movie starring Bert Convy.
