12/09/2021 Was lucky enough to see this in the cinema and it was a great film and finally a film showing some Greek history that has nothing to do with Ancient Greece. An anti-war film at heart that switches between the present and the past. A real human film, with a great cast and beautiful photography and music. It can stand proudly next to foreign films and shows one of the darkest stories from WW2 in Greece. I found myself crying in the scenes on the hill. And Max Von Sydow's last film...what an actor. When he recounts what happened, it breaks your heart. Watch it if you can. See more 12/09/2021 Really powerful and important story! I was so moved watching it.
