Undergoing open heart surgery, and under the influence of anesthesia, filmmaker Yehia (Nour El-Sherif) imagines an elaborate trial at which he faces prepubescent (Oussama Nadir) and teenage (Mohsen Mohi El-dine) versions of himself against the backdrop of Egyptian history and of his own career.
