Audience Member Other than the high heeled, push-up-bra-ed soap operatic bimbo/ drama queen eruptions, El Cartel is an exciting, engaging piece of exotic adventure, punctuated with intense, violent adversaries and plot twists. Acting is occasionally exceptional and actors are, thankfully, fresh to me. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member EL CARTEL DE LOS SAPOS (2012) Martin Gonzalez is a lower class boy who discovers the world of drug trafficking in the way to upward mobility fundamentally to win the love of Sophia, a good girl, a priori unattainable, which is his love since childhood. His boldness, unconsciousness and youth lead him to become active and vital part of the dangerous "Cartel Norte del Valle", a criminal organization that defines itself as a bloodthirsty and powerful device that overcame the Cali Cartel in cunning military power of corruption and economic strength. Several years of drug and appropriate (bad) friends helped Martin to move up the syndicate, and finally getting the attention of Sofia and win her love. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Movie about journalists who are diving into Mexican drug trafficing Cartel... I was waiting for more suspence, more danger, more deaths... I think this was just a scratch from the real life. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Small film, well done. Some people didn't like it, but I thought that there was some principles behind the story. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member its a really terrible low end movie !! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member very predictable... although they nicely 'quantified' the rules... somtimes things are just meant to happen, but smt they're not gonna happen... dunno wot is it with the signs tho...
