In 1969 the Epstein brothers founded a music store in downtown Buenos Aires. They offered imported records thus quickly becoming a sanctuary. Youngsters who later became notable figures in the rock scene, namely Claudio Gabis, Nito Mestre, Charly García and Andrés Calamaro, all agree that it was the place of freedom and inspiration they so desperately needed. It was also the time when the artistic avant-garde was nourished by a nascent national rock scene, and this, in turn, by art, provoking an explosion in the midst of a society isolated and lethargic, due to a repressive state apparatus. The documentary tells the story of this iconic record store through archive material and testimonies.
