John DeFore The Hollywood Reporter The film's final act is unbelievable, even if we ascribe hidden motivations to uncharacteristic behavior. Audience Member I don't know if it's a great movie or a really bad movie. I didn't get bored watching it but I don't think I'm taking much out of it either. Anyways, for better or for worse, it's always good to get away from Hollywood kind of movies. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Muy fugaces la mayoria de los personajes pero me agrado la historia bastante. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member It was a pleasure to see Bernal in a good movie -- he's made some duds recently. Argentine movies are usually angst-ridden and psychological, and this is no exception. It's a dark study, and even though some thought the high points were the sex scenes (Bernal is sometimes typecast as an inexhaustible sex machine), I thought the tension between his aimless self-destruction and the intense abandonment issues of the women were interesting. Like Fellini, Goes and Babenco are holding up a microscope to the depravity of the privileged. My main objection is the theft of the child which was never resolved, or even alluded to at the end...unless I missed something. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Awesome acting in a nonsense story. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Sıradan bir öykà 1/4, yer yer bir can sıkıntısı Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member if it wasn't for bernal and director's hability i hardly would have watched till the end. It's a very complicated story for a simple message. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
