Jesus Agudo eCartelera There is nothing really groundbreaking or impactful besides the visuals (...) but it's one of those movies than can make us travel. Bermejo Cinemanía (Spain) The story is as old as it is effective: an impossible great love and a love triangle like The English Patient. Best life E Such a beautiful Movie. Wonderful selection of actors. Blanca Suárez amazing as always. Javier Rey, love him. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/13/23 Full Review Late R Beautifully shot and well-acted, ‘El Verano Que Vivmos' is let down by a mostly bland script that tries to tell two romantic stories at once and fails at both with the main problem being the lack of details that would make the progression of the relationships remotely believable. No matter how hard it tires with all its swelling music and lovely visuals, the audience is never made to care. It has a moment here and there (about 30 mins from the end there's something of interest), but for the most part, it's just not very well-written. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/22/23 Full Review Audience Member the big picture of the plot is a good idea but not too much. Based on Spain's fifties with amazing Andalus south region and sunny landscapes, we enjoy a love triangle story with famous actors: Blanca Suarez and Javier Rey. The flamenco dance performance of Blanca is poor attractive. I don't know why the camera catches too small and poor views of the dance. The dialogs of Javier are fooling without any deep content, also the way they fall in love. Finally, a less know actor Pablo Molinero is the best of all, his characterization of a typical family boss is excellent, his exacerbation of emotions, and his perfect south accent.
