Audience Member "Living Images" conveys a narrative of modern Estonian history through the usually hilarious, but sometimes heart-wrenching, travails of one family. The pacing is tightly woven without feeling jumpy and the comedic timing is impeccable. The players are well-cast, the sets capture each time period convincingly as do the costumes and hairstyles. This would be a perfect movie, were it not centered around a premise of Nazi apologism. Still, even propaganda is not devoid of entertainment value.
