Six young adults cross paths in one apartment building during a particularly hot summer in Montreal. Rita (Pascale Bussières), a petty thief on roller blades, shares a place with the mothering Roxan (Isabel Richer). Neurotic Henriette (Pascale Montpetit) has eyes for Lloyd (James Hyndman), a horny radio host, but he's chasing after barmaid Loulou (Macha Limonchik). She lives with Mark (Robert Brouillette), a depressed musician who works at a late-night liquor store.
