Art T An enchanting movie with the most surprising performance by the stellar Jean Stapleton. She takes a great lady enshrined in history, and makes her most human, in this post war, post FDR movie. She became a delegate at Truman's behest and asked for a declaration of human rights, which of course, fails. Instead of an all encompassing biography of the former first lady, we have a slice of her life post first lady and we see a great human being, a great diplomat, and a fierce woman that all women should study.
