Electra Glide in Blue is an OK movie, not five stars but watchable. We watched it because Robert Blake stars in it. There is some fascination surrounding him, given how he fell from grace and his passing.

I cannot imagine the era in which this film was deemed to be quality cinema. To say it is dated is to say that the Pyramids are old. The pacing is plodding at best, the characters are cartoon caricatures of actual people, and the dialogue makes it seem as if everyone (cops included) are high. There is no purpose to the film, and no direction as to where any of the character interactions are meant to go. It is as aimless as the desert setting.

Slow, not watchable, totally forgettable story of a good cop who rides a bike and solves a really boring murder. Some of the cinematography is stylish which is the best aspect of an otherwise meh film.
