Biker B Great old motorcycle movie, I love the slower pace of these older movies! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/04/23 Full Review Douglas P Electra Glide in Blue is an OK movie, not five stars but watchable. We watched it because Robert Blake stars in it. There is some fascination surrounding him, given how he fell from grace and his passing. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/11/23 Full Review Audience Member I cannot imagine the era in which this film was deemed to be quality cinema. To say it is dated is to say that the Pyramids are old. The pacing is plodding at best, the characters are cartoon caricatures of actual people, and the dialogue makes it seem as if everyone (cops included) are high. There is no purpose to the film, and no direction as to where any of the character interactions are meant to go. It is as aimless as the desert setting. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Slow, not watchable, totally forgettable story of a good cop who rides a bike and solves a really boring murder. Some of the cinematography is stylish which is the best aspect of an otherwise meh film. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review steve d Average and completely forgettable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member It's over forty years old but has stood the test of time well. Good film and never boring. David Elliott Chicago Daily News It's easy to enjoy the film's brash energy, but there's no way to admire a movie in which [the characters] are all used as devalued chips in a game without meaning -- a crap game. Oct 3, 2023 Full Review Kathy Fennessy Video Librarian Magazine Library programming on biker movies and cult classics could make excellent use of Electra Glide in Blue. Rated: 3.5/5 Mar 23, 2023 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy A movie that, depending on one's point of view, is either the anti-Easy Rider or a simpatico companion piece to Easy Rider. Rated: 3.5/4 Aug 27, 2022 Full Review Dennis Harvey 48 Hills Electra Glide will be manna for those who already dig such determinedly offbeat entertainments... Aug 12, 2022 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...a sporadically intriguing yet pervasively uneven (and dated) piece of work. Rated: 2/4 Oct 11, 2012 Full Review Rob Gonsalves Rob's Movie Vault It's far from perfect, but it's often moving (and frequently gorgeous). Rated: B+ Jul 15, 2010 Full Review Read all reviews
