Leslie Felperin Variety Helmers [Daft Punk] bizarrely choose not to use their own catchy tunes here, the one thing that might have given pic slim commercial legs. Alea H Excellent cinematography! The music and emotions behind every scene really held it's ground. Must see! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Electroma is a very experimental film by the electronic duo, Daft Punk, one of my favorite musicians/band. I like experimental films and I like almost all Electronic Music so I think this would be great. Don't get me wrong, I recommend the film, but the pace is soooooooooo slow. I believe the first 15 minutes is just the main characters driving. Yep. The 10-20 minutes before the climax is just the main characters walking towards and through a desert. My favorite part has to be the climax as it is actually kind of tear-jerking, don't worry, I won't spoil it. Overall, I was okay with Electroma. Nothing abysmal. Nothing excellent. Just fine. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Electroma is a quiet, surreal, psychadelic short film (a bit over an hour). It is for the type of person who will spend a long time looking at art or listening to music and doing nothing else; it is not much like Interstella 5555 at all. I cannot really argue with the people that disliked the film. I happened to be in a very chill mood when I watched it and found it very interesting. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member If you can't appreciate any of the emotion of the scenes and acting, or the gorgeous camera shots and environment, you're obviously only going to complain about the pace, which already misses the point. An untold masterpiece. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Helmers [Daft Punk] bizarrely choose not to use their own catchy tunes here, the one thing that might have given pic slim commercial legs. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Daft Punk (One of the Words Greatest Musicians and Gods of Dance Music) surely can create a film that is most definitely unique. The film is different and creative, its quite boring, but the robots style just can't disappoint fans. (B-) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
