Great movie about the complex relationship of a single mother and her daughter. It is presented as a suspense, but in reality the mother initially preferred to think her daughter was murdered rather than facing her guilt.

The movie touches an interesting theme—the obligation of children when their parents grow old and become fully dependent. However, the narrative is a little slow and the particular relation between mother and daughter —which is crucial to understand the rationale of the movie's final outcome —has not been fully developed.

Elena Knows reminded me that not all stories are meant to be told. The synopsis claims Elena's pursuit for the truth is "relentless". However, even more relentless was the boredom this "film" manifested. I feel bad for the editing team, having no linear plot, mundane footage and worse dialogue to work. The 1 star goes to Elena, well acted. Please. Do not watch this movie.
