Aug 12, 2011 This movie has a good plot-base and interesting detail when it defines the life of Eliza (a mentally disturbed woman who searches for love), astrology, and the occult. The sub-plot is details the criminal plan Tommy, played by Tommy Lee Jones. He seeks to blow up a bridge that he's constructing over the Indian reserve on which his grandmother lives. The movie has a David Lynch sort of feel in more than a few instances, which makes it difficult to watch all in one sitting. The conclusion of the story is not great, nor resolusive, but the viewer is grateful, in a way, that the story is over. See more Sep 2, 2009 This movie is strange. The characters are all off in the head, sometimes the lighting was the worst I've ever seen in a movie, and either the editing was messed up or it was my dvd because a couple seconds of so many scenes kept repeating, then near the end everything just went insane.
