Audience Member Sex, violence, and social commentary whirled together. Emanuelle is unapologetically sexual and, as a globe trotting reporter, treats men and women as equally disposable (though affectionate) sex partners, in the James Bond mode. That gets jumbled up with non-consensual sex which some of the characters take in stride and some are devastated by. Social targets include "white slavery" sex trafficking, and exploitative gurus. The combination of some well developed scenes and some abrupt cuts make for an inconsistent experience. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member The focus shifting on and off the white slave trade does jar somewhat, and it certainly takes its time getting started. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member On back cover, it says 'explict and violent' ...explict and violent in my *ss! Over all, very bad movie.
