Dan A Probably one of the dumbest movies I've seen in a while. The characters are so vapid and idiotic who made the dumbest decisions in a life or death situation. The daughter was facing off with poachers??? Really??? Please don't waste your time with this movie... like I did. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/11/24 Full Review Judith D This was probably the most stupid movie I have ever seen. A total insult to intelligence. Are they kidding!!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/24 Full Review Ronald M A shallow story, with forced drama that tries very hard to just get to the action… but fails. All the characters can be described as "discount actor" or "generic character" with an obvious attempt to appeal to a younger audience by putting in bad stereotypes. Basically; it tries to hard, takes itself to seriously, tries to force depth into characters so you Have to care about them, and fails at everything. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/12/23 Full Review raul R Totally AWFUL. It blows my mind how this movie was greenlighted. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/28/23 Full Review Audience Member This film is so ridiculous that it would have worked much better as a comedy. The section where they are environmentally friendly and have all their water in glass bottles and also all the diabetic medicine is also in glass containers. Then it all smashes when the rhino knocks there car over and leaves them without any supplies. There would be plenty of threats in a safari park without needing to do this with the script. There are plenty more ridiculous elements to the film. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review sarah a Such a great creature feature! Really enjoyed from start to finish. There were plenty of different murderous animals in this film. Very exciting throughout and realistic. The film helps you to understand the effects of poaching and how sacred the animal kingdom is. Phil Hoad Guardian Despite the horrific circumstances, Endangered Species remains inexplicably stuck in the perky comic register of a US sitcom. Rated: 2/5 Jun 22, 2021 Full Review Richard Whittaker Austin Chronicle Its story of the classic ugly Americans learning important lessons about the eponymous endangered wildlife of East Africa is undoubtedly well-meaning. Unfortunately, it's also graceless and predictable. Rated: 1.5/5 Jun 1, 2021 Full Review Dennis Harvey Variety Slick and scenic but increasingly silly, by the end it has become perhaps the most preachily wrong-headed wildlife conservation adventure since the notorious "Roar" 40 years ago. May 28, 2021 Full Review Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com "Endangered Species" fails to provide a reason to remain invested in clumsy screenwriting and performances, diluting the shock value Bassett is hoping to deliver. Rated: D Aug 3, 2021 Full Review Carla Hay Culture Mix Endangered Species is an example of what not do when going on a safari and what not do when making a movie thriller about it. The film's intended preachy message about poaching is overshadowed by the idiotic story. Jul 11, 2021 Full Review Eddie Harrison film-authority.com ...determinedly delivering a message that most of us can get behind... Rated: 3/5 Jul 2, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews
