Following their high-school graduation, Jade Butterfield (Gabriella Wilde), a sheltered but privileged teen, becomes enthralled with David Elliot (Alex Pettyfer), a working-class youth with a troubled past. Though Jade and David quickly fall in love, Jade's father (Bruce Greenwood) strongly disapproves of the relationship, while David's father (Robert Patrick) advises caution. However, their parents' disapproval only makes the love-struck teens more determined to pursue the intense affair.

The antiquated remake of "Endless Love" is enough to end relationships. A re-imagining of the 1981 Brooke Shields vehicle, which was pretty bad on its own accord, is a painfully endless stream of romance clichés with few redeeming qualities.

I'm watching the film based on my own feelings. Although many critics agree that there are many clichés of this genre in this film. But for myself I want to say that I was incredibly happy to live these hours in the world of heroes who endlessly love each other.

Such an amazing love story, don't understand why it's rated so low. It's definitely a must watch. It tackles the dynamics of family, love, humor, dealing with grief, and also abuse and the hardships of deciding what's best for you or what your family thinks is best for you and making your own decisions.

Endless Love? More like Endless Entertainment - RUN IT BACK PLEASE!!! If you think for one second that this fairy tail love story wasn't a majestic masterpiece, you can go back to complaining about your neighbors on Facebook - or whatever it is you do in your free time - because you probably suck. If possible, I would have scored this movie a 99 out of 100 simply due to the fact that they never played the song Explosions during a climatic kiss when David and the main lady (Jade?) finally officially cemented their #endlesslove for each other (I could have seen this potentially happening during the airport scene... or maybe even sneak it in after the wedding at the end). But none the less, it's the only thing I can possibly think of that wasn't undoubtedly perfect about this treasure. #endlessloveforendlesslove
