Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com A historical drama that feels like the kind of historical drama that Hollywood used to create before CGI took over and blood n' guts became the name of the game. Rated: 3.0/4.0 Sep 7, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

elijah m Kind of bad. But it's idk. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/19/24 Full Review Corne K The historical events portrayed in Enemy Within are really worthy of being made into a blockbuster. This movie tells the story on a bit of a budget, but it is fairly true to actual events and the acting is actually quite reasonable. It's worth watching and then exploring the history behind it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/03/24 Full Review Mike W The story provides an excellent example of the far reaching effects of World War II. It reared up and engulfed the small peaceful island forever changing lives. Tides can turn rapidly as the islanders discovered. The sparse use of special effects was appreciated. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/30/23 Full Review Arthur D Very good acting, story and conclusion. You will enjoy the story and has some surprises. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/20/22 Full Review harding h You would think, even o the Japanese air force, a pilot would know how to hold a shotgun or rifle. Acting was amateurish at best. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/20/22 Full Review Audience Member Just in the trailer alone they F’d up the facts: he crashed on land-important since he had valuable papers that wouldn’t survive in water, but important since his main goal was to recover them; he didn’t speak English—again important since that was how he was able to leverage his way into getting the other Japanese islander to help him (and conceal his bombing of PH from the Hawaiians; and do these film makers have a clue as to what Hawaiians look and sound like?! That’s how much they screwed up in 2 min trailer (not to mention this is supposed to be 1941 and nothing visually resembles that era in the footage) — too bad, the actual real events are incredible.
