Self-made millionaire Bill Bradley built a video store empire from the ground up. But when the industry collapsed, so too did his fortune. Bankrupt and suddenly stripped of his identity, Bill finds solace in the most unlikely of places: extreme endurance athletics. Decades later, Bill has achieved remarkable feats in the endurance space, including a world record. Karen B Epic Bill is emotional, motivational & filled with life lessons. Bill teaches us to never give up & to have the determination to lift ourselves up after we encounter difficult moments in our lives. The film is beautifully filmed and a must see! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/30/24 Full Review elena s Inspiring, raw, and real. This documentary centering on the experiences of an athlete who perseveres through the unique world of extreme athletics beautifully parallels the backdrop of persevering through hardship in the mundane world. Epic Bill teaches and reminds us of the growth that stems from failure. While the world of extreme athletics is not an experience that is relatable for many, the experience of failing is one we can all relate to, and which we can benefit from being reminded to get up and try again. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/30/24 Full Review Susan S Epic Bill is a friend of mine who continues to inspire me every single day with his grit, inspiration and dedication to never ever ever quit. He is a Herculean force. The documentary was an emotionally riveting Watch which every athlete simply must see!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/30/24 Full Review Ian S This film is a film about resilience. It is the journey of a man who took hard knocks and transformed those hard knocks into motivation. He decides he will never give up, no matter how often he fails. Each failure is transformed into a learning experience in preparation for the next attempt. It is a very interesting look into the head of an extreme athlete. What motivates someone to take on ridiculous, body destroying challenges? Where will it take him over time? In any case, along the way he accumulates a huge quantity of powerful memories. This is living life as intensely as you can. Constantly reaching in to bring out every ounce of motivation. Savoring any success because it is the fruit of enormous labor. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/23/24 Full Review Christine L Well-made film about an interesting person and the power of the can-do spirit that at time haunts and sustains him. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/22/24 Full Review erik s Epic Bill takes us on a journey of inspiration, hope and self reflection. No matter what your circumstances, no matter if you’ve experienced failure or even a series of failures, you can’t retreat. Set goals and dream big. Thanks Bill, for your important message!
