Erased's fragmented and convoluted narrative may give viewers the impression it is a patiently staged, grippingly told psychological mystery, but they soon discover what an illogical mess it is. Go to Full Review

Everything hangs together largely through the chemistry of the child actors in the 1988 scenes. Without their charming turns as kid detectives, this manga adaptation could have been a disaster. Go to Full Review

01/09/2020 Really underrated anime, 10/10 See more 12/22/2018 Loved it! The overall contention of the series was just great, and the story-telling was amazing! It was one hella engaging anime to watch. Each of the 12 episodes of this series was compelling to watch with endless possibilities about one’s significant future. Very well structured, and of course it featured a very nice concept of ‘revival’. See more 07/08/2018 This was a great adaption and one that i really enjoyed. Everything was recreated so well from the manga. See more 06/21/2018 Erased manages to tell a harsh story in deeply touching a way that is absolutely bursting with heart and soul. however, the filmmakers constantly attempt to force poignant moments into the story that unfortunately fall into the trap that so many animes fall into. these scenes feel abrasive and almost cringe-worthy failing to fall into place naturally. See more 01/14/2018 Awesome series, keeps you entertain the entire time, I highly recommend it See more 12/17/2017 Erased's live action is a positive step forward when it comes to anime to live adaptations, the source material and ideas were implemented properly without the screenwriters adding their own B.S formula to the mix such as the disaster of the live action Death Note which flopped terribly. By showing we prefer the actual source material the film studios will finally give us what we actually want when converting anime to real life action. No more Dragonball Evolution crap, people need to see the stories the way they were originally meant to be written. See more Read all reviews
