Frank Morris (Clint Eastwood), a hardened con with a history of prison breaks, is sent to serve the rest of his life sentence at Alcatraz -- America's most infamously brutal and inescapable maximum security prison. I think It's a decent movie, it's kinda boring as not much happens but at the same time it keeps you engaged because it interesting , the inmate characters are quite memorable even though the acting is a bit weird sometimes.

Escape from Alcatraz benefits from its attention to detail, Clint Eastwood's solid performance and some of its more thrilling sequences (like the titular one), but it has some pacing issues and i wish the film could have delved even deeper on how the incarceration in Alcatraz really was.
