But most of these faults are due to the film’s commitment to the philosophical bit. Also, they named the Noah-character’s wife “Joan” (Lauren Graham) because her husband is building an ark.

Steve Carrell is so sweet and funny, Wanda Sykes is hilarious--I was laughing out loud almost constantly-- & Morgan Freeman and John Goodman are amazing as always. I'm very shocked by the low marks here, and literally created an account on Rotten Tomatoes just to leave a positive review. My family and I absolutely adored this movie!

I really enjoyed it. A fun family movie. Great special effects. I watched the credits and they included what seems to be “wrap” party. Looks like everyone had fun making the movie.
