Ashley T @TerribleTasteInMovies Jan 18 I love any movie where the story doesn't have a damsel in distress. Let's be honest, men really aren't the saviours. The lower budget, revenge horror, does it right. The camera work is on par, cant stand when you know it's a camera. The woman who acted in the movie, play the parts beautifully. Strong, don't take any shit, characters, is a refreshing take; like the invincible Man with Moss, or, say what you will, Enough with I know, but she plays the part well, JLO, and the ones who get revenge, are by far, the best ones. Honestly, the poster got me watching this movie. Two gorgeous women armed to the teeth, I was ready and raring to see what this movie was about. Two young women on their way to a retreat in the city take some time off before their destination at a small town. Only the small town hides a terrible secret, a depraved family out to exploit any gullible strangers, like the two women who show up. The two end up being kidnapped, raped and beaten by the customers of their kidnappers. But they escape and they plot their revenge. Its I Spit On Your Grave, only its two young women with less graphic violence, but only by a degree. No real nudity is seen but the implication is obvious. The acting is not up to par but the leads are supremely attractive. I do like that this film has someone helping the victims/heroines. Not the best but certainly good to watch. Plot was somewhat ok but the execution was really bad - bad acting, bad direction, etc. The acting was really which really took away from the experience. Plus there were numerous plot holes.
