Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News It pretty much stole my heart away. Rated: 3/4 Dec 15, 2021 Full Review Tracy Brown Los Angeles Times As can be expected from a film intended for children, "Even Mice Belong in Heaven" is a pretty straightforward story that touches on a lot of familiar lessons. But the magic is in the way that it's told. Dec 11, 2021 Full Review Simran Hans Observer (UK) The story is a little flat, but the gorgeous, hand-crafted puppets and sets give the film dimension. Nanna G Such a beautiful and emotional touching movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/16/23 Full Review The M OMG what a beautiful and beautiful story I can't help but love this story hope there is a sequel Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/09/23 Full Review Lenka Z The movie was going on my TV channel, and i was already attracted by the good stop motion animation. There isn't a part of the movie where you'd look at the time or get bored, so the story is always grasping attention, it has a flow, and lastly it carries a beautifull and meaningful message, which is suitable for all ages, and yes, i had tears in my eyes while watching it, 11/10 and i recommend. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review joy e. g Good core values. Also offbeat, humorous, serious, and endearing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review James F What the hell is even going on in this? What's the aim? Why so much pseudo-intellectual garbage? I honestly don't get why the hell this film is praised so excessively, guess creative effort is greater than moralistic sense. The protagonist is barely anything redeemable, for a start, she has no gratitude or empathy and is taken as a coward despite having no fear in spouting biased malarkey that would make anyone punch her in the face immediately from how much she just won't be quiet about it if the situation was even slightly different. The plot is basically the producers trying to boast their modelling skills since it's basically a case of all visuals, no substance, it tries too hard to give metaphors to actual expel an obvious message that connects any event from one to another. Good god, what did I even watch? I can't even give the benefit of the doubt with how much it reminds me of films of this style before because at least they actually prioritise plot and giving social justification over just about anything else.
