Phoenixx R The movie overall is very modern. The breakdown, Maddie, the "victim" of a sexual assault that occurred when she was in high school (10 tens prior) has lived her life suck in time. She is completely naive especially when her two best friends; Paige--since high school (also a raped victim) and James--since college tried telling her Laurel is no good. Maddie ignores all the red flags when she meets and becomes friends with Laurel( who works for Joyce and should have been fired long ago.) Falls in love with Maddie. Laurel has no respect for personal space or personal boundaries. Now for Joyce, my gosh, she is beyond lame. For a person who has "money" she sure puts up with a lot from disrespectful Laurel. She steals, lies and complains far too much. Then there's the camera angle at times is off. Watch at your own risk if you have an hour plus time to waste.
