Leslie Felperin Guardian The combat scenes are ponderous, the dialogue is risible, and the editing is clunky as a tank trying to do doughnuts. Rated: 1/5 Nov 1, 2021 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media It apparently took four writers to create this awful Rambo knockoff, wherein almost nothing makes any sense, from the larger plot arc all the way down to the weirdly mismatched dialogue exchanges. Garry C Primary school children could have written, edited & acted better. This movie could just about take out "shittest of all time" Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/13/22 Full Review Audience Member This may be the worst movie I've seen in years. Just a scattered plot and nothing made sense. Bad guys died I guess. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review harris r Four writers, and not one could create a cohesive and coherent screenplay? Towards the ending, Michael Madsen's character (the only decent actor in this slop) says "this world is a cruel and unforgiving place." It sure is when movies like this are being made. Aside from the horrible writing - riddled with plot and technical issues and sloppy dialogue, the directing was terrible, especially the choppy action scenes. But most annoying, were the washed out colors and 80's slow-mo scenes. Never mind this being a B film, it felt more like a 5th grade drama class production. Paul Sloan seemed to have trouble staying awake for most part of the film, and I can't figure out if Richard Dreyfuss was drunk, and/or on some bad meds. Clearly he was in this only for the paycheck. The only decent qualities this film had going for it, was the well-paced 82 min runtime, and the score, which is usually loud, overbearing and unfitting - typical in B films. This mess is a huge pass, and a generous 3/10 from me. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
