Stephen G The last scene of this film is a must see. It breaks all rules and heralds the triumph of love! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/05/24 Full Review Mario C Terrible script, acting and cinematography. Looks like high schoolers made this lame movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/16/23 Full Review Michael C Great film and love Brian Jordan Alvarez in any film and show he plays in!!!! He is great looking too!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/19/24 Full Review elena v This was surreal. I was entranced from beginning to end. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review jerry f A very interesting topic yet to be fully explored, but unfortunately this movie failed to execute to its potential. The movie turned way too slow at times with scenes that didn't seem to contribute much value to the plot. Finally, to make it even worse, the acting was mediocre. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member What did I watch? This was NOT normal behavior of human beings, let alone gays. Therefore a LOUSY film. Forbidden love, not! Films build a story, define characters for THE AUDIENCE to understand, and tell a story and explains the reason or point. It seems like this 'story' is being told through a lense of mind altering drugs, psychosis, or other perceptive altering emotional influence. It is not logical or rational. At no point does the movie explain what is going on. The brother tries to control the friend and brother. He has no right in common sense or of the law to attack the gay guy like this, so that requires explanation for that extreme behavior. Any review I have read just repeats the media release statement verbatim. I don't think even the experts understood it. I am a 57 y/o gay man who lived in LA, came out, dealt with friends who 'could not be gay,' did not want to be gay, were strongly controlled by family, tradition, or religion, and NONE ever behaved like this brother.
