The Evil Dead DNA is ablaze in this visceral, new installment that brings the Deadites front and center for a truly gruesome experience, even if the story has all the subtlety of a chainsaw and a boomstick.

Sébastien Vaniček embraces the traditional Evil Dead style and then packs his film to the brim with downright brutal and wildly creative set pieces — and every single one of them is an absolute banger. Go to Full Review

After a couple of hours of pummelling and dour sadism, you’ll be pining for the days of Bruce Campbell throwing himself around with a chainsaw. Go to Full Review

A genuinely pretentious slog instead of a regular bad-horror-movie slog. You can picture Ash Williams rolling his eyes at the faux gravitas of it all. Go to Full Review

Even with that too-long run time (It’s just under 2 hours) and lackluster climax, "Evil Dead Burn" is a mostly entertaining film that incorporates a bunch of disparate sub-genre influences to produce something unique and engaging. Go to Full Review

Evil Dead Burn proves the franchise is still very much alive, delivering some of its most unforgettable horror set pieces even if it loses part of the anarchic spirit that made it legendary. Go to Full Review

Shane 1h Absolutely loved this one. It delivers everything you’d want from an Evil Dead movie. It had great kills, a lot of blood, and kept me hooked the whole time. It was creepy, fun, and felt like a true Evil Dead movie. If you’re a horror fan, I’d definitely recommend checking it out. See more CTBoone57 3h A brutal, gory, fun time! Enjoyed all the Deadites and the family aspect. If you're a fan of Evil Dead, it's worth a watch! See more Jar of yams 3h Definitely a jump scare in the first 30 minutes 😭😂 See more Jason 4h It’s gory and the plot is useless, but it’s in line with the rest. If you’re an Evil Dead fan, it’s alright See more Bonnie 7h Overdone and exaggerated gore masked as an attempt to empower a domestic violence survivor/hero. Predictable storyline which meant most of the film had to be filled with carnage where originality lacked. At least movies like the Final Destination franchise still managed to entertain even with similar levels of gore and violence. It was a waste of my time. See more Sam 7h Not as well executed as the previous film in the serious, but still entertaining. See more Read all reviews
